I'm on a new platform. Here's why.
OK. So, ideally the migration from Substack went flawlessly and you received an email in your inbox and are reading this without a hitch. Paid subscribers: that should all work smoothly for you, too, but I may check in separately.
And, to ALL of you who subscribed to me on the other platform, thank you so much for continuing on with me over here.
For those of you who have newsletters, you are likely familiar with the "should I get off Substack?" question. The news of what free speech quite meant to their executive team, and then the latest about their polymarket connection (what??!!), sort of nudged me to this point.
In making this move, I have given up what had been a pretty straightforward way - especially for a low tech gal - to do a variety of audio and written posts, video (if I wanted) and then also connect a new podcast (which I was about to do), to move to a bit more clunky combination of Ghost for newsletter/audio posts and a podcast host platform for that.
That is all perhaps more detail than you need. But, this is the gist: I was feeling conflicted enough about Substack that I felt myself holding back on posting or exploring creative content ideas more. It is wild how these in-the-background processes and tools affect your creative energy.
In the meantime, I have truly wanted to pick UP my energy for posting and sharing in 2026, trying out new things etc. So - here I go! I am breaking through the irritation of switching platforms, and I am compromising a bit in order to lay more authentic groundwork for what comes next.
Wooh! I actually do feel a bit lighter.
Here are things that are brewing:
- I DO have a new podcast in the works, and that, too, will be a more authentic collection of my musings, solo episodes and interviews. Up front, I have a couple of great interviews I now did a while ago that I am dying to share. And, I've decided to do more solo work, so am basically trying to build up my confidence enough to just GO FOR IT. Any and all cheering from the sidelines is much appreciated.
- This newsletter will be a combination of short, long, podcast show notes, basic "naming and faming" of joyful happenings and innovation I see around me, and, ideally, I'll attempt to do some video work too.
- One thing I want to offer paid subscribers is a once per quarter answer to your questions about building influence, whatever size platform you have, or any related topics that you know I've been studying for a long time (media relations with climate journalists might be another topic...). I will publicly share the answer to those (via audio or video, not yet sure) to give more people some new ideas.
As ever, here's a reminder that I do advisory sessions via the Intro.co app, if you'd like a one-on-one with me for a particular project or to plan for more leadership visibility in advance of an event (3-6 months before ClimateWeek is a good use of this sort of Climate Influence guidance), let me know.
What should you expect from this newsletter going forward?
It may not always be the same template. The posts may be short or long. They may be weekly or come three in a bunch the last week of the month. They may be audio, written, or... if I can push my comfort zone WAY out: video. They may be show notes for a podcast episode, or...

Basically, I will be very much myself, and try to keep it simple and helpful. Expressing and amplifying JOY will likely always be on tap.
If you want to follow me more, Bluesky is really the main place to do that. Though, I am on LinkedIn too.
So, thanks SO MUCH for your interest in my work, for being up for following me over to this new newsletter platform, and for considering a paid subscription when the things I am sharing feel like they add to your more expansive life and fresh thinking about climate influence and basically, influence for GOOD!
