(stealthily) Launching "Name & Fame" + Show Notes for first episode
My new podcast icon!

Friends! I have been behind the scenes working on this new show, mainly, figuring it out on my own (with expert editing help from Syd Gladu - who is also my neighbor in Seattle). So, here I am quietly launching this first episode of Name & Fame (amazing art/icon by Nancy Bolan). The episode is a conversation between my friend and the producer I worked with on my Living Change: A Quest for Climate Leadership podcast, Maria Paleologos. We discuss what's been happening between then and now...

Anyway - I may still have to iron out quirks and quite figure out how to get it connected to ALL the platforms (which is may already be), but for now - you can listen on Apple (and maybe subscribe, too?): Name & Fame, with Andrea Learned.

Give it a listen! And, as ever with podcasts, if you are ever inclined to rate/review, it is MUCH appreciated! ;-)

## Notable Quotes

**On the podcast's mission:**

"When the world is serving us lots to name and shame, my soul has truly guided me to more intentionally name and fame the leaders who might not otherwise be highlighted."

**On joy sparking engagement:**

"I can feel my questions sparking joy in the people that I interview. And then they get excited and then I go, you know, and I tap into this and literally it feels like this energy."

**On small actions mattering:**

"Don't think that your little phone call or your little email doesn't matter out of the blue. These little things really add up."

**On leadership and social norms:**

"If a leader who has some platform is expressing joy at, oh my goodness, I rode my kids to school today on my e-bike... it would scale faster."

**On authenticity:**

"Once you just go, you be your authentic self, and guess what it is. So freeing."

**The mantra:**

"Joy as an act of resistance is my mantra, and that's why doing the show, naming and fame all this stuff in a way is counterculture."
